Strangeness & Charm is an independent English-language home and lifestyle journal. We explore useful design ideas, the details that make a room feel personal, and purchases that deserve a place in everyday life.

What you will find here

Home Design is about usable spaces: a welcoming entryway, a small dining corner, lighting that serves different tasks. Considered Finds looks at materials, maintenance and the compromises behind a purchase. Everyday Wellbeing covers ordinary routines and comfortable spaces, without miracle products or promises of medical benefit.

A considered approach

Our guides start with a situation, explain the choices and say who should skip a purchase. Recommendations are based on editorial research and published information, unless an article explicitly describes a documented test. We do not present illustrative photographs as evidence of hands-on testing.

The journal is published under the Strangeness & Charm editorial name. We do not claim professional design or medical credentials. We use real lifestyle photography to illustrate settings, and describe its source on article pages. Our editorial policy explains how we approach recommendations.
